PAN International and Food + Planet announce new strategic partnership

On Earth Day 2026, PAN International is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with Food + Planet to strengthen collaboration at the intersection of nutrition, human health, and planetary health.

At a time of growing climate-related health risks and continued pressure on global food systems, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing healthier, more sustainable dietary patterns through education, collaboration, and evidence-informed action.

“By joining forces with PAN International, we are strengthening our ability to drive meaningful change at the intersection of nutrition, sustainability, and health across a growing international network,” said Sharon Palmer, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Food + Planet. “Together, we can help accelerate awareness and action around one of the most powerful opportunities we have to support both human and planetary health: the food on our plates.”

For PAN International, the partnership marks an important opportunity to deepen its global reach and strengthen its impact across key regions, including the United States.

“We are pleased to be partnering with Food + Planet at a time when the connections between diet, health, and environmental sustainability are becoming increasingly more important,” said Kerstin Plehwe, President and CEO of PAN International. “By working together, we can support more healthcare professionals with evidence-based nutrition education and help strengthen the role of healthy, sustainable dietary patterns in clinical practice, public health, and community settings.”

Together, PAN International and Food + Planet aim to advance awareness, collaboration, and practical action in support of healthier populations and a more sustainable future.
