Job Post: PAN Brasil Community & Partnership Coordinator
As we continue to expand our impact, we are looking for a dynamic and passionate Community & Partnership Coordinator to support our PAN Brasil national office.
Reporting to: Community Manager, PAN International
Position Status: 12-month contract, full-time or part-time
Location: Remote, based in Brazil
Compensation: USD 22,000 - 35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Start Date: Flexible, but ideally as soon as possible
About the Role
PAN Brasil works with medical students, health professionals, and institutions to promote whole food, plant-based nutrition and to advance healthier, more sustainable food environments in Brazil.
Position Overview
PAN Brasil is seeking a Community & Partnership Coordinator to support the growth of our programmes, partnerships, and community of medical students and health professionals. This is a fully remote contractor role, ideal for a medical student or a professional with strong connections to Brazilian medical universities who is passionate about health, nutrition, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Community Building:
Grow and engage a national network of medical students and health professionals.
Support and coordinate medical student groups across universities.
Program Coordination:
Manage and support PAN Brasil’s core initiatives:
Green Food Experience (for medical students)
PANCO (community for healthcare professionals)
Green Food Hospital (healthy hospital food initiative)
Monitor programme activities, document outcomes, and share updates with the PAN Brasil team.
Partnership Development:
Identify and cultivate partnerships with universities, hospitals, NGOs, and professional associations.
Represent PAN Brasil in events, conferences, and meetings (occasionally in person).
Content & Communication:
Contribute to the creation of educational and promotional materials (in Portuguese).
Support social media and community communications.
Key Requirements:
Degree in health sciences (medicine, nutrition, public health, etc.) strongly preferred.
Strong interest in nutrition, sustainability, and planetary health.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience with community organising, student groups, or NGO initiatives is a plus.
Proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Based in Brazil, with availability to occasionally attend in-person events and/or travel locally.
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Fluent in English.
